Your account

• An account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in or let anyone else use it.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account and with anything you take from LANDBASE.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or a data licence, without notice where the breach is serious.

Addresses shown with sales and energy certificates

LANDBASE shows the address recorded with a sale (HM Land Registry Price Paid Data) or with an energy performance certificate (the Energy Performance of Buildings Register). Each address is shown with the record it belongs to, under that source's terms, which permit its use only for these purposes:

• Sale addresses: providing and using residential property price information.
• Certificate addresses: promoting and understanding the energy efficiency of buildings in the sale and rental markets and by their occupiers and users, and the other purposes in the Ordnance Survey and Royal Mail notice, which travels with every certificate address shown here.

You must not:

• copy, extract, download or compile addresses from LANDBASE into a list, file or database, by hand or by any automated means;
• publish, sell, share or otherwise make addresses available to anyone else, except as part of the record they belong to and for a purpose above, with the notice the source requires;
• use addresses for marketing, mailing or contacting occupiers, or for any purpose the source's terms do not permit.

Use of address data outside these purposes needs a licence from Ordnance Survey and Royal Mail. A breach is your responsibility, not ours, and may lead to action by the data's owners as well as the closure of your account.

Automated access

Do not scrape, crawl or query LANDBASE by script, bot or any automated tool, or get round a limit, sign-in or other control on the site. Reasonable limits apply to some lookups to keep the service working for everyone.

Information, not advice

LANDBASE brings together public and licensed data as it was published. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and it is not legal, planning, valuation or investment advice. Check anything you rely on with its source or a professional.
